Original 5”x7” watercolor which inspired by the landscapes of North Carolina. Autumn is my favorite time of year, every element around you shifts into a new realm of color and light. The air is crisp, the trees are vibrant, and the grass is still a lush green. The fallen leaves covering the ground and falling into the water have the most magical scent, warming the spirit and preparing the soul for the holidays and the upcoming new year.
Original watercolor and gouache on 140 lb cold press paper with hand torn edges. Frame not included.
My watercolor paintings are painted in wet washes and flourishes of pigment that melt into one another, transforming a blank page into a light-filled moment in time.
